There’s not much to it…

For the first 5 or so kabobs, place the blueberries at the top to look like stars then alternate bananas with strawberries to look like stripes. For the remainder, do only alternating bananas and strawberries.

Enjoy your 4th of July celebrations!

4 Things to Avoid When Choosing a Sunscreen

Choosing a Sunscreen Image

According to the Environmental Working Group or EWG, which is an American environmental organization that specializes in research and advocacy in the areas of toxic chemicals, there are key things you need to avoid when choosing a sunscreen.

  1. Spray Sunscreens: They can be inhaled and don’t cover completely
  2. SPF’s over 50: They can be misleading and don’t offer extra coverage
  3. Oxybenzone: This ingredient is linked to hormonal disruption
  4. Retinyl Palmitate: This ingredient can actually trigger sun damage to skin

You can visit www.ewg.org to find a list of the safest sunscreens on the market.
