Hope Montessori Academy provides an environment where children ages six weeks through twelve years are cared for, nurtured, and educated by certified Montessori teachers and early childhood specialists. Pikes Peak Council’s 2012 Summer Day Camps:
Experience the excitement and thrill of the traveling AROUND THE WORLD with Pikes Peak Council Summer Day Camps. Each week, your scouters and siblings will experience adventures that take them to Africa, Australia, South America, Europe, and Asia. They will explore new cultures and customs that represent each continent. Costs are $90 for cub scouts and siblings in 1st through 5th grade for each Day Camp and $60 for our Twilight Camp. Each camp offers a program for younger Scout siblings in our Mini-camp. Mini-camp includes limited activities in our program theme. Mini-campers are $40 per child per week. Children’s Literacy Center’s Summer Reading Camp
Cost is $150.00 per child. June 4 – June 15, children 7 and 8 years old will meet. June 18 – June 29, children 9 and 10 years old will meet. Children must be reading below grade level and cannot be on an IEP. During each two-week period, each child will receive one-to-one tutoring using the Peak Reader® Program. YoungBotBuilders LEGO Engineering & Mindstorms Robotics Camps
In our LEGO Engineering Camp, kids will build and explore machines and mechanisms, and investigate motorized brick sets. We'll learn about gears, pulleys, and simple machines. We'll make cars and robots that move with motors. Open to kids ages 8 - 13.
In our LEGO Mindstorms Robotics Camp, we spend time building simple robots out of the Mindstorms 2.0 kit. Throughout the week, they will learn about programming the basic move, rotation, loop, and switch blocks. They will work with the sound, color, touch and ultrasonic sensors. Kids will program simple tasks for the robot to accomplish, culminating in an obstacle course. No previous programming experience required. Open to kids ages 10-13.

Life and Leadership Taekwondo
