Crested Butte

Crested Butte is approximately a 3 ½ drive from Colorado Springs and is located 28 miles north of the town of Gunnison. The town is a registered historic district & sits a mile or so below the ski mountain. There’s a free bus that runs regularly between the town and mountain which makes it easy to get around. While it’s known for its extreme terrain, Crested Butte can also be a great place for families and kids. Kids six and under even can ski free all season at Crested Butte. . There are 121 trails, two terrain parks, 15 chairlifts and 1,547 skiable acres.

Camp CB
Camp CB is where learning and fun converge to create a memorable experience for you and your child. You can register your child at Camp CB in the Whetstone Building. For same day registration, plan to arrive at least 45 minutes early. If your child is renting equipment allow additional time for fitting. Camp CB is open daily from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Kid's Night Out
If you want a night out sans child, bring your child (ages 4-12) to Camp CB where their instructors will entertain them for an exciting Kid's Night Out. Kids who take part in kid's night out will have entrance to the Adventure Park and all the activities it has to offer, which includes, tubing, mini golf and bungee jumping. The cost is $85 and takes place nightly from 4.00 - 8.00 pm. Reservations must be made in advance.
